Description
- You will oversee compliance components, including conflicts of interest, Know Your Customer (KYC) / Anti-Money Laundering (AML), DAC6, market misconduct, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and international sanctions during the initiation of client matters.
- You will conduct preliminary and ongoing AML and risk evaluations for clients and counterparties.
- You will support lawyers and their assistants by collecting and analyzing KYC documentation and offering a thorough evaluation of potential risks to the firm.
- You are tasked with the daily monitoring of these obligations and will uphold internal procedures and systems in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
Your profile
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and traits:- Holds a minimum of a bachelor's degree in legal studies or possesses equivalent experience, with an understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations being viewed favorably.
- Communicates fluently in Dutch, French, and English, enabling the delivery of training sessions on various subjects.
- Demonstrates a process-oriented mindset, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness in operations.
- Exhibits strong analytical abilities and exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Takes a proactive approach to identifying challenges and is oriented towards finding solutions.
