Description
- Contribute to the implementation of business development objectives aligned with the Luxembourg office strategy.
- Identify, develop, and pursue cross-practice and cross-border business opportunities in line with the firmwide business plan.
- Support partners and lawyers in the creation and execution of strategic client plans, conduct relationship reviews, and propose value-added service ideas.
- Manage the pitch and tendering process, including drafting content, coordinating logistics, and contributing to local and cross-border submissions.
- Ensure local implementation of global and Luxembourg-specific client development programmes, including relationship management, market research, and internal coordination.
- Participate in practice group BD planning and budgeting; assist partners in plan execution and ensure compliance with internal budget procedures.
- Lead the development of new product offerings in collaboration with partners and the Marketing & BD team, defining value propositions and go-to-market strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with key industry associations and support profile-raising initiatives such as legal directory and award submissions.
- Promote best practices in client relationship development among key stakeholders.
- Represent the Luxembourg office in global campaigns, acting as the central contact for showcasing local capabilities.
- Support the design and execution of client-facing initiatives and events in line with the client development plan.
Your profile
- Minimum 8 years of experience in business development; previous experience in a law firm considered an asset.
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in French and other languages considered an advantage.
- Forward-thinking mindset with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to act as an advisor to partners, understanding client goals and market dynamics.
- Team-oriented approach with proven ability to collaborate across local and international teams.
- Excellent communication skills and adaptability in an international and multicultural environment.
- Proactive and resourceful personality with a positive attitude and a solutions-driven mindset.
