Description

Financial Leadership & Reporting:
  • Act as the primary backup to the Head of Finance and step in when necessary to ensure continuity.
  • Manage the monthly accounting close process to ensure accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of consolidated group-level reporting.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive year-end financial statements in compliance with local regulations and IFRS standards (notably IFRS 16).
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of management reporting, including KPI dashboards and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT filings and tax returns; oversee the preparation of audit documentation for external auditors.
Controlling & Analysis:
  • Lead the budgeting process by coordinating planning inputs and conducting variance analysis in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Assess financial performance, identify key trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Process & Systems Optimization:
  • Review and improve accounting and financial processes such as closing, invoicing, banking, and budget tracking.
  • Support the digital transformation of finance by implementing tools like ERP systems and automating manual journal entries.
  • Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with established procedures.
Team Coordination & Cross-Functional Support:
  • Collaborate with accounting, tax, business, and operations teams to promote cross-functional alignment.
  • Provide guidance to junior team members and support their professional development.

Your profile

  • Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a multinational or fast-paced environment.
  • Solid knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP, corporate tax regulations, and VAT legislation.
  • Expertise in IFRS and hands-on experience with management reporting systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities.
  • Self-motivation, results orientation, and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, team spirit, and adaptability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); knowledge of Workday and Alteryx as a plus.
  • Fluency in French and English.

Offer

  • Monthly salary indication: € 6501 - € 7000
