Description
- You oversee the structuring and credit risk evaluation of new insurance initiatives in a competitive, global insurance landscape.
- You engage in diverse areas such as export finance, project finance, and structured commodity finance.
- You develop and manage relationships with key clients and brokers, both domestically and internationally, negotiating to identify value-added business opportunities while managing client expectations.
- You participate in the credit or underwriting decision-making process, acting either as an independent decision-maker or as a source of informed proposals.
- You proactively monitor insurance projects and offer clients customized, innovative solutions.
- You assist and mentor department members, contributing to knowledge sharing.
- You also have the chance to collaborate on various in-house projects alongside your underwriting responsibilities.
Your profile
- You hold a Master's degree in economics, applied economics, or business engineering, and possess experience in financing projects. Additional training in financial management or global trade is a plus.
- You bring a minimum of 5 years of experience within the financial sector.
- You have a strong command of Dutch and demonstrate proficiency in both spoken and written French and English, enabling you to operate effectively in an international setting.
- You combine a robust analytical capacity with a talent for synthesis and possess solid writing skills.
- You are detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of managing tight deadlines.
- You are open to occasional international travel to strengthen and nurture client relationships.
