Description
As a fire claims adjuster, you will be responsible for :- Effectively represent our client in the appraisal and settlement of claims in the various fields of fire and liability insurance;
- Carry out appraisals using traditional methods or available digital tools;
- Assess property damage related to claims;
- Detail the elements justifying the acceptance or refusal of claims;
- Analyze responsibilities and consider possible recourse;
- Verify the amounts insured and the conformity of the risk covered;
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Your profile
- Has a Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture, surveying, engineering or an equivalent field acquired through experience.
- Is able to lead surveys involving several participants.
- Has a minimum of 3 years' professional experience in the insurance and/or construction sector.
- Able to work independently and make decisions on highly complex and important files.
- Communicates fluently, both orally and in writing, in French.
- Demonstrates persuasiveness, empathy, customer focus and initiative.
- Strong planning and problem analysis skills.
- Perfect knowledge of French or Dutch, depending on the region.
- Open to technological and non-technological developments in the industry.
- Experience in handling fire or liability claims would be an asset.

- Monthly salary indication: € 3001 - € 6000
