Description
- You will manage sweeping claims files with significant financial implications, using your knowledge of various areas of insurance and legislation.
- You analyze the files entrusted to you with respect to coverage and liability.
- You calculate potential claims costs and reserves and take the initiative to keep them as accurate as possible throughout the life of the file.
- You communicate smoothly with all parties involved, including medical advisors, attorneys, inspectors, clients, victims and brokers.
- You actively invest in your own development on insurance aspects and legal knowledge.
- You provide technical advice and training to colleagues in various departments and act as a back-up legal point of contact.
Your profile
- You have a university master's degree in legal science.
- You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in the field of industrial accidents, including knowledge of liability law.
- You have an excellent command of both Dutch and French.
- You are a real team player and contribute to good cooperation.
- You are dynamic, flexible and focused on finding solutions; you have critical and analytical thinking skills, are assertive, resistant to stress and have strong communication skills.
- You are open to changes and new trends, and you adapt to the evolving expectations of policyholders and intermediaries.
- You have an understanding of numbers, which is very important for the financial aspects in complex files.
