Description
oin a team of highly skilled legal experts who specialize in various fields. You will engage directly in diverse legal matters with support from experienced colleagues. Your responsibilities will encompass:- Advising clients on matters related to technology, artificial intelligence (AI), media, and telecommunications law, particularly concerning software, digital businesses, e-commerce, platforms, cybersecurity, and cyber-resilience.
- Assisting clients in navigating their compliance with relevant data protection and privacy laws and regulations.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of commercial contracts, including licensing agreements, SaaS contracts, and service agreements.
- Providing counsel on the protection, registration, and enforcement of intellectual property rights, especially within the technology sector.
- Representing clients in litigation and alternative dispute resolution concerning telecommunications, media and technology (TMT), data protection, and intellectual property laws.
- Collaborating with colleagues from various departments to tackle intricate legal challenges.
- Following an initial onboarding period, you will help mentor and train junior lawyers within the team and play a key role in organizing work and promoting knowledge sharing.
- Managing your caseload with increasing independence.
Your profile
The ideal candidate:- Possesses a master's degree in law (Bac + 5), ideally obtained in two different countries, including France or Belgium.
- Brings a minimum of three years of professional expertise in intellectual property law, data protection, and emerging technologies.
- Demonstrates fluency in both French and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in German would be highly regarded.
- Exhibits excellent analytical skills and intellectual flexibility, paired with a solid foundation in legal knowledge.
- Thrives in dynamic work environments characterized by diverse and evolving subject matters.
