Description

In the role of Art Insurance File Manager, you will focus on serving an existing portfolio of European high net worth clients and art insurance clients. You will support the team in attracting and onboarding new clients related to art and exhibitions. Your focus will be on providing a high quality service, optimizing client retention and collaborating with your colleagues in Belgium and the Fine Art team in the UK.

Specifically, what will you be doing?
  • Manage daily contacts with clients and provide solid administrative support.
  • Obtain renewal terms for clients and research suitable alternatives to prepare presentations and assist with RFP responses.
  • Coordinate all quotes for renewals for existing customers and handle any interim adjustments.
  • Ensure customer data is accurately recorded and entered into the system in a timely manner.
  • Manage inquiries from insurers regarding customer policies and build relationships with underwriters.
  • Confirm coverage with relevant insurers, process policies and track required documentation.
  • Provide policy documentation from insurers and review for approval and release by responsible account managers.
  • Handle account inquiries and credit control issues and communicate concerns to account managers in a timely manner.
  • Understand and apply basic legal and regulatory policies as required for internal procedures and insurance contracts.
  • Work with technical operations function to ensure proper credit control is maintained and bad debts are minimized.
  • Act as liaison between clients and internal service providers during the coverage period to ensure accounts, risk documentation and claims are handled in a timely and efficient manner.

Your profile

  • Has up to two years of relevant work experience in the insurance industry.
  • Possesses a fundamental knowledge of general insurance products and services, which is key.
  • Has gained experience in insurance administration within a commercial environment, which is considered a plus.
  • Is fluent in both French and English at a high level (both conversational and business).
  • Has experience working towards objectives within a regulated and measurable context and has achieved SLAs.
  • Has proven ability to handle relationship building and a strong focus on customer service, with the ability to identify potential risks and seek advice when necessary.
  • Possesses confident communication and interpersonal skills, strong planning abilities and analytical thinking skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude in supporting team members.
  • Can independently manage workload and communicate within a matrix organization.
  • Is proficient in the use of MS Office.
  • Is entitled to work within the EU (via citizenship or visa) and can travel to the UK as required by the position.
