As part of your mission with our client, your main responsibilities include :

In-house legal support:

• You advise members of the various departments on the strategy to adopt for each case, developing sound arguments and facilitating decision-making.
• You will be the legal point of reference for employees requiring in-depth legal knowledge on specific files.
• You are involved in updating legal information using various digital tools such as Strada lex and SharePoint.

Monitoring and drafting contracts:

• You contribute to the drafting of service contracts.
• You participate in the revision and updating of credit agreement templates and contractual clauses.
• You are responsible for checking contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.

Corporate documents:

• You assist the legal counsel and management in the management of corporate documents, such as minutes of board meetings and general meetings.

Procedural notes:

• You are responsible for updating and ensuring compliance of procedural notes in line with the missions of the compliance, legal and risk departments.

DPO back-up:

• You will be responsible for incident follow-up in conjunction with service customers.

Your profile

The ideal candidate:

• Fluent in Dutch, with a satisfactory command of French and English.
• Has a master's degree in law
• Has an interest in the banking sector
• A first experience in sectors such as bailiffs, notaries or credit institutions is a considerable asset.
• Demonstrates a keen interest in technological developments in the field of information systems and credit-related issues.
• Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, with sharp analytical skills, attention to detail and autonomy in his/her work.
