Freelance Buyer and Contract Lead

Description

• You take charge of purchasing files from A to Z: price requests, selection, negotiation and award.
• You define and apply a structured and innovative purchasing strategy, in line with needs in the field.
• You understand the challenges of technical projects (cables, lines, civil engineering) and translate them into concrete solutions.
• You contribute to product strategy, market analysis and supplier management.
• You develop lasting relationships with key contractors and, where necessary, drive improvement plans.
• You participate in the upstream phase of strategic projects and lead cross-functional teams.
• You ensure contractual and commercial monitoring of execution: claims management, compliance with commitments (quality, planning, safety).
• You make regular site visits (in Belgium).
• You work with the Supplier Manager and your counterpart in Germany to share best practices.

Your profile

• You are a freelancer with at least 3 years' relevant experience in purchasing/contracts.
• You have a technical or commercial background (or equivalent experience).
• You are autonomous, results-oriented, analytical, critical and proactive.
• You are fluent in Dutch, French and English.
• You are available to travel regularly in the field.
