Description
- Analyzing and processing applications coming from brokers;
- Preparing offers, conducting negotiations and concluding contracts;
- Maintaining regular contact with brokers to obtain the necessary data;
- Monitoring the quality of underwriting, both technically (correct application of conditions and rates) and in terms of service (smooth follow-up, correct communication with brokers and clients, solving complex files);
- Actively contribute to healthy growth within the Marine department, including by realizing new business, setting up agreements with brokers and developing innovative terms and coverages;
- Maintain and further develop relationships with brokers and clients in a professional manner;
- Support brokers in bringing in new business or renegotiating existing contracts.
Your profile
- You are fluent in Dutch and English, and have a degree in insurance or have a maritime background;
- You have a solid knowledge of the maritime sector and experience in the insurance world;
- You are proactive, conscientious and customer-oriented, and you function well independently and in a team;
- Affinity with AI and data analysis and the ambition to participate in the innovation within the company, we see as a strong asset.
