Description

  • Support the formulation and execution of business development plans that foster growth within the M&A space.
  • Ensure the local product and client targeting strategies are in alignment with global growth objectives and the overarching firm strategy.
  • Cultivate a robust network across global business development teams, as well as the broader Business Development & Marketing (BDM) function, to maintain strong connectivity to global initiatives and strategies.
  • Guarantee consistency with global processes, maximizing the utilization of global resources and tools, including shared services offered by the firm.
  • Assist in the development and execution of targeted product, sector, and client growth strategies, facilitating cross-selling opportunities with global product teams.
  • Provide prompt and high-quality contributions to winning strategies and leading-edge pitch submissions, collaborating closely with pitching teams.
  • Work jointly with Sector and Client BD teams to promote M&A growth regarding priority sectors and market opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design compelling product-driven go-to-market campaigns that effectively engage target clients.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of relevant products, markets, and clients to inform and enhance growth initiatives.
  • Support the office in participating in European/global initiatives, such as client insights programs, to strengthen client relationships and align with the firm’s strategic goals.
  • Drive and utilize data-driven insights to aid in horizon scanning, identifying opportunities, sharing information, and managing the M&A pipeline on both local and global levels.
  • Collect and assess market information while monitoring external trends to guide the formulation of business development strategies.
  • Supervise Sector/Product trackers to uncover cross-selling opportunities.
  • Leverage the capabilities provided by marketing technology and data infrastructure to ensure product-oriented insights are proactive, targeted, and relevant.

Your profile

  • Possesses at least 7 years of experience, preferably in a professional services environment, demonstrating a solid history in business development (BD) and marketing or a related role with substantial exposure to these areas.
  • Has an extensive understanding and knowledge of the M&A space.
  • Can provide evidence of successfully engaging with and persuading senior management while securing their commitment.
  • Demonstrates experience in producing persuasive client materials (such as proposals) within tight timeframes, showcasing meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exhibits comprehensive experience in leveraging data-driven insights to identify opportunities that foster profitable revenue expansion.
  • Maintains a client-focused mentality, emphasizing relationship enhancement and improving the overall client experience.
  • Is adept at managing data and analytics, capable of constructing persuasive, data-informed narratives to secure approval from senior stakeholders.
  • Displays strong stakeholder management abilities, effectively engaging with individuals at various levels both internally and externally.
