Description
- Monitor developments in the EU internal market and related policies;
- Identify, follow and monitor relevant issues in the fields of services of general interest, the internal market and competition;
- Write discussion notes, briefing notes, as well as contribute to the drafting of opinions, press releases, articles, etc..;
- Write speeches for high-level representatives in connection with these policies;
- Represent the organization at internal and external meetings (with European institutions and lobbying organizations) to present agreed positions on relevant issues;
- Coordinate the work of relevant decision-making bodies and working groups, and organize the corresponding meetings;
- Coordinate an ad hoc working group dedicated to digital policies and industrial strategy;
- Lead advocacy for the creation of a parliamentary intergroup on services of general interest.
Your profile
- Master's degree in a relevant field, preferably with a European/international specialization;
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages, in particular French and/or German, is an asset;
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position;
- Good understanding of the European Union decision-making process;
- Ability to prioritize tasks and deal with a variety of issues under tight deadlines;
- Autonomy, initiative and ability to work as part of a team within a small, international structure;
- Attention to detail and high organizational standards.
