Description
The ideal candidate:- Has consulting expertise in labor law, social dialogue and specific human resources issues.
- Handles all labor relations with trade unions for the geographical area concerned.
- Provides support to human resources professionals within affiliated companies, notably in employee integration and departure processes, as well as internal mobility.
- Designs and delivers training programs, seminars and information sessions via a dedicated academy, as well as giving presentations at meetings.
- Leads and coordinates member company committees and working groups.
- Leads or is involved in in-house projects and initiatives, particularly concerning service and product development.
- Keeps abreast of developments in various fields of human resources, as well as social legislative developments and political positions, in order to enrich newsletters and analysis notes.
Your profile
The ideal candidate:- Holds an advanced degree in law, with significant experience in labor law acquired in a corporate environment.
- Has in-depth knowledge and practical experience of Belgian labor law and social dialogue, with a keen interest in union negotiations and a desire to develop his/her skills in this area.
- Has a customer-oriented approach, considering this dimension as essential to his/her role.
- Is aware of the major social and political developments affecting his/her sector of activity, able to identify future trends and influences, and to form a considered opinion on them.
- Demonstrates analytical skills with the ability to think in terms of solutions.
- Will not hesitate to question established practices when necessary, and to propose innovative ideas or new ways of operating.
- Enjoys teamwork while being able to take on responsibilities independently.
- Fluent in French and Dutch, with knowledge of English a valuable asset.
