Description

As a Social Affairs Advisor, you will have the following responsibilities:
  • You represent members within the joint committees sector.
  • You offer support to member companies with their questions regarding labor law and social relations.
  • You keep them informed of the latest developments in these areas and provide tailored advice.
  • You participate in the implementation of our annual action plan, including offering information and services to members, organizing webinars and developing tools for the website.
  • You enrich your knowledge about the industry together with your teammates.
  • You focus on subject areas such as labor law, collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), social relations and social policy.
  • You maintain various external contacts, including HR professionals from the sector.

Your profile

The ideal candidate:
  • Possesses a master's degree in law, preferably supplemented by a postgraduate degree in social law.
  • Ideally has more than five years of relevant experience as a lawyer, for example within a law firm, a company or a social secretariat.
  • Thoroughly masters the essentials of labor and social law.
  • Is fluent in Dutch and French, with an active command of English.
  • Enjoys working together in a team, is energetic, easy to connect with others, and sees managing diverse files as a challenge.
  • Attaches great value to client focus and strives to make a valuable contribution within your area of expertise.
