Description
- Manage data protection issues by guiding clients on GDPR compliance, which involves creating policies, internal procedures, and data processing agreements, as well as addressing data breaches and transfers.
- Prepare, examine, and assess contracts to ensure they fulfill both legal standards and business objectives.
- Offer legal counsel on a comprehensive array of intellectual property topics, encompassing copyrights, databases, registered designs, trademarks, domain names, and issues related to unfair competition.
- Advise clients in the realm of media law regarding marketing and advertising initiatives across various platforms.
- Collaborate closely with different departments, such as Mergers & Acquisitions, Employment, and Tax, to meet clients’ legal requirements and promote seamless operations.
Your profile
- Holds a university degree in law along with an advanced postgraduate qualification.
- Is a member of the Luxembourg Bar Association or an equivalent body within the EU.
- Brings a minimum of 3-4 years of experience gained at a reputable law firm, with a strong emphasis on data protection, technology law, and intellectual property.
- Exhibits strong interpersonal communication abilities.
- Demonstrates exceptional writing and document preparation skills.
- Is fluent in both written and verbal communication in French and English; knowledge of Luxembourgish and German is highly desirable.
- Possesses the capability to understand and interpret changes in regulations effectively.
- Displays a proactive and solutions-focused approach, with keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Is dynamic, shows curiosity about the evolving technology market, and embodies a collaborative team spirit.
