Description
- As a Team Manager, you are responsible for premium (translation) language support for the entire company: translations, copywriting, language advice, and 'tone of voice' training. This way, you define and strengthen the company verbal identity;
- Of course, you do not do this alone, but together with a team of 6 translators, interpreters, and copywriters, whom you lead, motivate, and coach;
- You are the first point of contact for (translation) language projects. You analyze the needs of internal customers and set up proactive collaboration with clear governance and timings;
- You ensure that people and resources are used efficiently and effectively;
- You closely follow developments in the field of language and communication (clear writing, inclusion...) within and outside the insurance sector and participate in relevant working groups and projects.
Your profile
- Fluent in Dutch, French, and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in all three languages;
- Holds a Master's degree or equivalent higher education qualification;
- Demonstrates a pragmatic, proactive, and organized approach to tasks and challenges;
- Exhibits a critical thinking capability, enabling effective problem-solving;
- Assertive in communication and decision-making, with the confidence to express ideas and opinions clearly;
- Shows agility in navigating change and adapting to new situations;
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of professional experience in internal communication;
- Proven background in leading teams focused on communication within an organization;
- Covers both strategic planning and tactical execution in communication initiatives;
- Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies would be beneficial;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Experienced in utilizing communication tools and AI technology, such as Copilot;
- A demonstrated history of at least 5 years in a corporate communications environment, showcasing relevant responsibilities and achievements.
