Description
As a Claims Manager, you will be responsible for the following tasks:- You will take charge of the claims files assigned to you, ensuring efficient, accurate and high-quality processing.
- You act as a point of contact for brokers, customers and victims, ensuring transparent and appropriate communication with all parties concerned.
- Within the limits of your settlement authority, you adopt legally sound and well-argued positions, while managing your files autonomously and proactively.
- You maintain solid professional relationships with third parties (doctors, lawyers, etc.) and manage your files independently.
- You apply established claims management processes and identify areas for improvement in procedures, workflows and collaboration with external partners.
- You participate in projects that promote the implementation of innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your profile
The ideal candidate:- Has several years' experience as a claims handler, whether in the tangible or intangible field.
- Has strong communication skills, facilitating smooth exchange of information, feedback to other departments, and good cooperation within the team and with the team manager.
- Strives for the right balance between precision, attention to detail and efficiency in his/her work.
- Demonstrates empathy and a customer service-oriented approach, reflected in file management and telephone interactions.
- Evolves with a team spirit, is constructive and open to feedback, enjoys acquiring new knowledge, and willingly shares expertise while answering colleagues' questions.
- Excellent command of French and good knowledge of Dutch.
