Description
- You engage with clients using a relationship management approach that emphasizes collaboration, analysis, and operational efficiency, while also driving business development in the Life reinsurance sector.
- You conduct thorough analyses of markets, clients, and various business segments to identify opportunities and trends.
- You actively participate in and propose strategic initiatives targeting markets, ceding companies, and brokers.
- You collaborate in shaping the marketing strategy within the region alongside the Europe Regional Management and Life Underwriting Management teams.
- You accompany local managers or Life Underwriting Management representatives during visits, trips, and events, fostering strong business relationships.
- You define technical parameters for pricing in conjunction with the Life Underwriting Management-Pricing Team to ensure competitive offerings.
- You assist in analyzing submissions and support the quoting process for potential offers.
- You share your expertise and knowledge with the Life Unit & Management Centers to enhance overall performance.
- You contribute to technical studies and facilitate product development initiatives within the organization.
Your profile
The ideal candidate:- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or a closely related field.
- Possesses approximately 8 years of experience in the (re)insurance sector, with a robust understanding of various insurance products.
- Is proficient in English, Dutch, and French, with additional knowledge of Spanish considered an advantage.
- Exhibits strong capabilities in assessing insurance risks and pricing for reinsurance.
- Demonstrates exceptional organizational and communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments.
- Displays advanced technical and analytical abilities, with a logical and succinct problem-solving approach, while paying great attention to detail.
- Is self-driven and thrives in a team-oriented environment, maintaining a focus on achieving results.
- Is willing to travel as needed for the role.
