Description

  • Day-to-day management of legal and social issues.
  • You will be responsible for day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with Belgian regulations.
  • You will be involved in updating and managing model employment contracts, ensuring that they comply with current legislation, while drafting and validating employee contracts.
  • You will provide advice on HR policies and legal procedures, encompassing all aspects of employment law and HR.
  • You will monitor developments in social legislation in Belgium to maintain the organization's compliance, while anticipating changes that could impact human resources.
  • You will draft and update internal documents on legal issues relating to human resources.
  • Organizing and supporting social dialogue.
  • You will play a key role in facilitating social exchanges and supporting employee representatives.
  • You will participate in the preparation and follow-up of meetings with staff representative bodies, to encourage constructive social dialogue.
  • You will be involved in the organization of social elections, ensuring that each phase is carried out in accordance with legal regulations.
  • You will contribute your legal expertise to discussions with social partners, ensuring that agreements are compliant and properly implemented.
  • You will actively contribute to various strategic projects at Group level.
  • You will support the management of organizational transformation projects.
  • You will participate in establishing an international mobility strategy (France, Belgium, UK, Netherlands, etc.) based on identified needs.
  • You will analyze European directives on equal pay and other collective projects.

Your profile

The ideal candidate:
  • Holds a Master's degree in Law, a specialized Master's degree is an asset.
  • Has significant experience in the field, with a minimum of 7 to 10 years' professional experience.
  • Has expertise as a lawyer, while also having practiced within a company, which enriches his/her understanding of legal issues in a professional environment.
  • Fluent in Dutch
  • Good French and English language skills
