Description

  • Perform daily cash and position reconciliations between bank statements and position keeping tool;
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers, service providers, and teams to ensure data accuracy;
  • Monitor outstanding breaks and update internal reports in coordination with custodians and accountants;
  • Validate portfolio valuations for institutional clients, and investigate errors in control reports;
  • Oversee GSO reconciliation activities, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and controls;
  • Manage relationships with Chennai office and act as escalation point;
  • Prepare client reports and provide monthly data validation through the 'green light' process.

Your profile

  • Good knowledge of English and one or more other languages, ideally French;
  • Knowledge of financial products and financial products transaction processing workflows;
  • Knowledge of internal procedures related to and governing the relevant scope of activities;
  • Good knowledge of basic IT tools (MS Office XL, MS Outlook, VBA, …) and of specific IT applications used in daily activities;
  • Bachelor/ master degree in finance or accountancy is a plus but not essential;
  • Finance or economics or equivalent by experience;
  • Experience in the field of Operations (depending on function level);
  • You are a role model, supporting and fostering a culture of good conduct;
  • You demonstrate proactivity, transparency and accountability for identifying and managing conduct risks;
  • You consider the implications of your actions on colleagues, partners and clients before making decisions and escalate issues to your manager when unsure.
