Description
- As a claims manager, you are responsible for ensuring the optimal handling of your clients’ claims files, and you serve as the primary point of contact in the event of problems or complaints;
- You thoroughly analyze claims files; you negotiate with clients, opposing parties, insurers, experts, and attorneys;
- You consistently develop sound and efficient solutions, taking into account tight deadlines;
- You handle each case from start to finish: from opening the case, follow-up, and payment, to closing and filing it;
- You also take care of managing your schedule and handling mail;
- You compile claims statistics and interpret them in collaboration with your colleagues.
Your profile
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Insurance, Economics, or Law;
- You have some initial experience in the insurance industry;
- You are fluent in Dutch and French, and have a good command of English;
- You have a thorough knowledge of MS Office (especially Word and Excel);
- You are consistently customer-focused and work well as part of a team;
- You are organized and good at setting priorities.
