Description

As part of your duties, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
  • You will evaluate and analyze incoming claims, ensuring a thorough understanding of the circumstances;
  • You will coordinate the necessary investigations to gather all relevant information concerning each claim;
  • You communicate clearly and effectively with policyholders, claim handlers and adjusters, to ensure optimum follow-up of claims;
  • You make informed decisions based on available data, ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions of the insurance policy;
  • You manage negotiations with the parties involved to reach appropriate settlements;
  • You maintain the necessary documentation, ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded and archived;
  • You work closely with internal teams to improve claims management processes and procedures;
  • You participate in the ongoing training and skills development of your team, sharing your knowledge and expertise;
  • You monitor changes in laws and regulations, to ensure that all practices comply with legal requirements.

Your profile

The ideal candidate:
  • Possesses a Master's degree, or Bachelor's degree in Finance and Insurance or equivalent through extensive experience;
  • Has solid experience in claims management, with a thorough understanding of processes and regulations;
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both oral and written, facilitating interaction with customers and stakeholders;
  • Is able to work independently and as a team player, in order to collaborate effectively with various departments;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling rapid assessment of situations and effective solutions;
  • Demonstrates rigor and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in claims documentation and reporting;
  • Is at ease with digital tools and claims management systems, with an agile ability to adapt to new technologies;
  • Demonstrates strong professional ethics, discretion and a service-oriented approach to ensuring policyholder satisfaction.
