Are you passionate about customer-focused case management and have an analytical mind? Would you like to use your skills to efficiently handle personal injury cases and optimize processes? Then this Legal Assistance Manager position with our client in Brussels is for you! As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for following up claims, from declaration to final settlement, while defending customers' interests with a proactive approach. You will collaborate with experts, lawyers and negotiate with opposing parties to ensure fair compensation.
Description
- You are responsible for the follow-up of accidents or claims entrusted to you, from the declaration to their final settlement in favor of your client;
- You analyze the declaration and assess the claim in terms of coverage and liability;
- You act as a personal contact for injured victims and gather the information needed to complete their file;
- Engage in dialogue with the opposing party or their insurance company;
- You draft a claim and negotiate with the other party's insurer to obtain fair compensation for our client;
- You regularly inform the victim and his intermediary of the steps you are taking to defend his interests;
- You also consult other parties, such as experts, doctors and lawyers, during the handling of the case.
Your profile
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree in a legal, financial or humanities discipline (e.g. Finance and Insurance, Legal Practice, Criminology, Law) or equivalent experience;
- You have several years' experience (minimum 3 years) in handling property damage and personal injury cases;
- You are able to understand the needs of a client or colleague. You can read between the lines and anticipate needs to find the best solution;
- You make decisions, close files and keep your commitments.
- You communicate clearly and correctly via the most appropriate channel, adapting your language to suit the customer;
- You are curious and open to continuous improvement as well as to the various tasks entrusted to you;
- You are keen to contribute to a good customer experience and a pleasant team atmosphere. You don't hesitate to ask your colleagues questions, you're happy to support them when needed, and you enjoy learning from each other;
Offer
As a consultant, we offer you a permanent contract with the following benefits:- Monthly salary indication: € 3001 - € 4000
