Account Manager Direct Sales

Description

  • You will visit prospects and individual policyholders throughout Wallonia, with the aim of: developing the existing portfolio (farming), closing new business, answering their questions about products and rates.
  • You will be responsible for up/cross selling to members already insured, with a view to diversifying the portfolio.
  • You will visit small structures, such as practices with several independent doctors or nurses.
  • You participate in the mapping of health centers in Belgium and contact those who are not already insured, in order to analyze their needs.
  • You work closely with the Key Account Managers, particularly during the information sessions they organize in universities and colleges, to prepare future contacts with participants.
  • You take part in national campaigns (such as the Starters campaign, car shows, etc.), as well as in targeted campaigns aimed at medical groups or professional associations. You'll also be present at various events and trade fairs, welcoming visitors to our stand and answering their questions, as well as collecting contact details for prospective customers.
  • You will also work in collaboration with internal members of the Direct Sales department, to whom you will pass on information concerning interesting prospects who do not require direct intervention on your part.

Your profile

  • You have an advanced degree in insurance or equivalent, and a category B driving license. A Master's degree in law or economics would be an additional advantage.
  • You have at least three years' experience in sales or in a technical department of an insurance company, with a solid command of non-life insurance.
  • You are able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • You are customer and results-oriented, with a pragmatic and proactive approach.
  • You speak French and have a basic command of Dutch, with good comprehension.
  • Experience in the Belgian healthcare sector would be an advantage.
  • Certification as a "Distribution Manager" would also be a plus.
  • You have the ambition to become an expert in your field by contributing to the development of a small, dynamic association.
