Description

• You will be supported by the Casualty Department Director and will work closely with the established team in Germany.
• When you meet with brokers in Belgium and Luxembourg, your key responsibility is to present innovative insurance solutions.
• As a Senior Fleet Insurance Specialist, you need to have a strong entrepreneurial spirit to expand the network further.
• Your tasks will involve entering policy details, updates, and risk data into various systems to ensure accurate and effective management.
• Additionally, you will play a key role in developing and supporting procedures for underwriting strategies and administration in the automobile insurance realm, locally and globally.
• You will also be accountable for generating and executing frameworks and procedures for claims handling, analyzing financial performance indicators, evaluating and pricing risks in line with company standards, supervising Third Party Administrators, defining financial loss booking protocols, and establishing solid partnerships between the company and brokers.
• Maintaining continuous communication with colleagues in underwriting, Risk Engineering, and Claims teams is crucial for exchanging insights and tactics for successful underwriting evaluations.

Your profile

• The ideal candidate holds a master's degree or equivalent through experience.
• You possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Underwriter in leading international insurance companies, brokers, or similar entities in the insurance sector.
• With a 'Start-Up Mindset,' you will have a pivotal role in establishing an insurance infrastructure for fleets.
• You are a strong communicator, fluent in Dutch/French/English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• Curiosity drives you, with proactive, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative mindset to work across different departments within the organization.
• Capable of working independently as well as in a team.
• Excellent decision-making, time management, and optimization skills.
