Selection & Interim- *Will you be our new Compliance & Risk Manager?**
Description
- Conduct and document risk assessments;
- Providing advice in the area of risk & compliance;
- Organizing, and participating in meetings with relevant internal and external parties;
- Oversee compliance with applicable regulations (DORA, GDPR, etc...) in the development, implementation and maintenance of IT systems;
- Advise on the development of, and maintain guidelines, procedures and policies;
- Perform sampling and review of transactions with and on behalf of the client(s); Record and monitor risk indicators such as complaints, breaches and incidents; Perform reporting to the Financial Information Processing Unit; Monitor exception reports ;
- Acting as a point of contact for external parties/partners ;
- Performing reporting in the context of prudential ;
- Providing training for internal and external employees ;
- Monitoring and interpreting (new) laws and regulations in the field of compliance;
- Critically reviewing and drafting agreements (including with third party service providers);
- Analysis and follow-up of files regarding market practices, debtor management and collection, in consultation with the relevant internal departments.
Your profile
- Master en Droit;
- Extensive experience of several years in the legal sector;
- Experience in risk management/compliance in the banking or insurance sector is also a plus;
- Command of Dutch, English and knowledge of French as a plus.
