Our client is seeking someone excited to take on the various responsibilities of a contract negotiator, owning professional duties and contributing to a skilled team. Here's what you'll be doing:

• You will craft insurance terms for new risks, negotiate them, proactively manage your portfolio, and defend it in cases with significant financial impact to ensure efficient risk management and contribute to profitability and growth objectives. Your client base mainly includes contracts from the traditional corporate sector.
• Analyzing quote requests and technical reports to determine coverage conditions, pricing, and preliminary coverage terms by establishing personalized communication with brokers and/or clients to provide advice on cases while ensuring portfolio profitability.
• Drafting contract designs, validating documents provided by brokers and administrators, serving as the contact for any technical inquiries to ensure document compliance and service efficiency improvement.
• Keeping abreast of developments in your field to enhance credibility through continuously updated knowledge-based service.
• Proactively defending the existing portfolio to achieve optimal growth.
• Monitoring portfolio profitability and taking proactive measures when needed.

Your profile

Our client is looking for a candidate with the following profile:

• Hold a Master's degree in insurance, finance, or possess equivalent experience
• Have excellent proficiency in either Dutch or French, with a good understanding of the other language
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
• Demonstrate a technical-commercial profile, with the ability to engage in lobbying activities and deliver presentations to both internal and external stakeholders
• Ideally have initial experience in the insurance sector.
