Description
- Manage a challenging portfolio within the Health Insurance Department and be responsible for the analysis and underwriting of complex files.
- Negotiate with both direct clients and intermediaries to agree on appropriate premiums, taking into account medical and financial risks.
- Actively contribute to process improvements and innovations by looking beyond just the numbers.
- Act as a sounding board for the team and play an important role in decision-making processes within the organization by working closely with other departments.
Your profile
- As a sr. underwriter with our client, you will play a crucial role within the team. You have at least 5 years, preferably 10 years, experience as a health insurance underwriter and in-depth knowledge of the insurance market.
- You have keen analytical skills that allow you to get to the bottom of complex files quickly and accurately.
- Critical thinking is in your nature and you do not hesitate to defend your position and take a leading role in the organization.
- You are able to work independently and show initiative, but you are also a team player who looks for solutions together with colleagues.
- Thanks to your customer-oriented approach and strategic insight, you know how to find a healthy balance between commercial interests and risk management.
