Description
Our client is seeking a motivated individual for the role of Risk Analyst. As a Risk Analyst, your responsibilities will include:- Conducting risk analysis, computing technical premiums, and setting prices for insurance products.
- Creating proposals and engaging in negotiations for both new and existing business contracts.
- Reviewing and discussing policy wordings with stakeholders.
- Participating in risk assessments and monitoring risk mitigation efforts.
- Compiling information for Senior Underwriting Assistants.
- Preparing underwriting justifications and documentation for business outside your approval limits.
- Managing the insurance portfolio, ensuring profitability, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Developing and enforcing monitoring procedures and conducting portfolio audits.
- Assessing reinsurance needs and securing appropriate Fac Reinsurance with support from other teams.
- Entering and updating data in various underwriting software tools.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers, clients, and colleagues to enhance business outcomes.
- Undertaking special projects related to data management as assigned by senior management.
Your profile
We’re searching for a professional who offers:- A degree in economics, engineering, or law, ideally with a specialization in insurance or a comparable qualification.
- Extensive experience in Property Insurance.
- High levels of self-motivation, resilience, and a proactive attitude.
- Entrepreneurial thinking paired with confident decision-making skills.
- A strong sense of responsibility and a results-driven mindset.
- A team-oriented approach with excellent collaboration skills.
- Problem-solving expertise and a customer-centric focus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools.
- Fluency in Dutch and French (spoken and written) with strong English language skills (business level).
