Description

You will be part of both the social and corporate/M&A team and work closely with both the lawyers and the firm's knowledge manager to provide them with optimal support in their daily practice.
Your duties will include:
  • You will support our knowledge manager in a variety of tasks, including drafting, improving and updating models, analyzing and entering documents in the database and its further development, translating models and documents, compiling documentation bundles and (re)organizing and updating the library, managing our external databases and subscriptions, researching the application of digital innovations within the firm.
  • Together with the lawyers and the knowledge manager, you closely follow the evolutions of laws and regulations, case law and legal doctrine within the areas of social and corporate law and share this information with the lawyers. You create practical overviews of published legal doctrine.
  • You do preparatory work for the preparation of newsletters and other publications. This includes gathering relevant content, structuring information and ensuring the timely publication of newsletters on our website.
  • You contribute to the organization of both internal and external seminars, and (client) events. You are involved in various aspects, such as arranging logistics and coordinating materials.
  • You support the lawyers in file management and take on administrative tasks, including taking care of the layout of documents, doing publications, preparing powerpoint presentations in terms of content and form, and putting together closing binders.
  • You will assist the COO and knowledge manager with managing the firm's social media.

Your profile

  • You have a bachelor's degree in "Legal Practice", or equivalent through experience.
  • You have an interest in social law (mainly labor law) and corporate law and are willing to delve further into these fields.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and French and have an excellent knowledge of the other national language and a very good knowledge of English.
  • You have a nose for digital innovation.
  • You function well in a team and can work independently while being proactive and setting the right priorities.
  • You like structure, are well organized and respect deadlines.
  • You have a very good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
