KYC/CDD Analyst

We are looking for a CDD/KYC Analyst for the Client Lifecycle Management team in Antwerp/Brussels. The role involves performing detailed analysis and supporting Client Advisors within a dynamic and innovative working environment. Experience in KYC/CDD and knowledge of AML regulations are required.

Description

  • Conduct detailed CDD/KYC analyses on private banking clients, both natural and legal persons
  • Identify Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) and analyze complex organizational structures
  • Verify the identity of clients and related parties
  • Assess the origin of assets and funds of new or existing clients
  • Analyze historical transactions to detect atypical transactions
  • Identify relevant risks, red flags and associated mitigating actions
  • Escalate suspicious or non-compliant activity and present professional conclusions
  • Support Client Advisors and Relationship Managers with KYC-related questions during onboarding, prospecting and review processes
  • Proactively suggest improvements to the CDD process

Your profile

  • A higher degree in finance, economics, law or a related field
  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a KYC/CDD analyst or in a similar role within the first or second line of defense in corporate structures
  • In-depth knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations
  • General knowledge of private banking products and services
  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch and fluent in English. Good knowledge of French is a big plus
  • Team player with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Assertive, confident and detail oriented
  • Positive mindset and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Belgian legal forms and structures; knowledge of the Belgian tax framework is a plus
