Legal Counsel - Contract law/ Real Estate law
We are looking for a **Lawyer** with a passion for real estate to join a dynamic team in Luxembourg. As a Lawyer, you will be drafting agreements, assisting in contract negotiations, overseeing existing contracts and providing legal support during acquisitions. You will have a Master's degree in business or real estate law, with at least three years' relevant experience. If you are pragmatic, organized, able to manage several files simultaneously and wish to evolve in a demanding environment, this position is for you. Our client offers a permanent contract.
Description
- Drafting and correction of various construction and real estate agreements;
- Support in contract negotiations;
- Supervision and administration of existing contracts, as well as support in the event of difficulties encountered during the drafting process;
- Legal assistance during acquisition: legal verification and review/drafting of transaction documents, possibly in close collaboration with external consultants;
- Active legal monitoring of ongoing projects;
- Management and follow-up of legal disputes, e.g. with purchasers, contractors, etc., if necessary in cooperation with external lawyers and experts;
- Supervision of litigation and support of the company in disputes;
- Supervision of construction insurance underwriting and claims monitoring;
- Day-to-day administration of all legal aspects concerning Group companies based in Luxembourg (mandates, management boards, general meetings, etc.);
- Monitoring the implementation of compliance protocols specific to the real estate sector.
Your profile
- You have a Master's degree in business or real estate law;
- You have at least three years' initial professional experience in a law firm or as an in-house lawyer in the real estate sector;
- You have a perfect command of French and English; German would be an asset;
- You are pragmatic and results-oriented;
- You demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, and are able to evolve in a demanding and constantly changing environment;
- You are able and willing to defend the company's contractual interests;
- You enjoy teamwork and sharing knowledge, but are also autonomous and responsible;
- You are organized, able to prioritize tasks and comfortable with managing several files in parallel (multitasking);
- You are self-motivated and looking to progress within a dynamic structure.
