Marketing & Communication Coordinator

Our client, an independent Belgian law firm situated in Brussels is currently seeking a Marketing & Communication Coordinator to join their team. With 65 lawyers and 25 staff members, this full-service firm primarily serves large foreign or Belgian companies. Description

As a Marketing & Communication coordinator you will be responsible for all aspects related to internal and external communication and the organisation of events, seminars and webinars.

The job includes amongst others the following tasks:
  • You are responsible of the content of our social media pages, and keeping up-to-date with the latest developments;
  • You maintain our intranet and our website, enhance our internal communication and you write the event communications in cooperation with the partners;
  • You organise events, seminars and webinars in collaboration with our external partners, such as catering services, venues, printing houses, etc.;
  • You design invitations, brochures, posters, flyers, etc. for both internal and external use while ensuring the consistent ‘look and feel’ of the company;
  • You use our CRM system to create, develop and send out newsletters and e-invites to clients and other third parties;
  • You regularly participate to intern meetings with different departments to provide marketing insights and assess marketing needs;
  • You create, develop and update documents for tendering purposes, such as lawyers’ biographies, fact sheets, etc.

Your profile

  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (Marketing, Communication) and you have a keen interest in event management and communication;
  • Experience in a professional services environment is a plus;
  • Experience with Adobe Indesign and a website Content Management System is a plus;
  • You enjoy organising events, seminars and webinars. You do this efficiently, have an eye for detail and respect deadlines;
  • You are fluent in Dutch. Your level of English and French is suitable for daily use in a business environment;
  • You prefer a pragmatic and hands-on approach;
  • You are flexible, communicative, punctual and solution-oriented;
  • You have a positive mindset and a can do attitude;
  • You are proactive and show initiative;
  • You are a team player but you can also work independently.
