Receptionist

Our client, an international law firm, is looking for a receptionist. The Receptionist is the first point of contact to the firm's internal and external clients. The Receptionist provides a professional, responsive and high quality service to the firm's clients. The Receptionist manages the client area on a daily basis and offers administrative and practical assistance within the scope of the role.

Description

  • Receive visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
  • Answer and redirect incoming calls
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail
  • Prepare meeting rooms and catering as requested by the lawyers, organize required meeting room lay-out, set up audiovisual equipment
  • In collaboration with colleagues, plan and coordinate events. This may include scheduling, room selection, catering, parking arrangements, administrative assistance, etc.
  • Provide some administrative support to lawyers and visitors
  • Check office supplies stock and place orders
  • Manage visiting suppliers & contractors in line with compliance, health & safety processes

Your profile

  • Fluent English speaker with working knowledge of French; Dutch is an asset
  • Secondary education or higher
  • Competent in a professional services environment with previous receptionist experience
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Outlook, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Resilient and adaptable with strong interpersonal skills
  • Service minded with a friendly and helpful, can-do attitude
  • Flexible and a quick learner
  • Confident in setting up video conferences, conference calls, and webinars
  • Hands-on approach
