Description

As an Insurance Administrator, your primary responsibility will be to provide reliable and effective administrative and technical support to the Underwriting Team across Europe. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Accurately enter and book premium data onto core business systems, ensuring that all information is recorded correctly.
  • Prepare all necessary policy documentation, including policy schedules, endorsements, and certificates of insurance.
  • Ensure the issuance of policy documentation aligns with local internal and external requirements, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Address inquiries from various departments, including Underwriting, Billing & Collections, Re-Insurance, and Claims, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Foster relationships with Underwriters in the relevant Lines of Business, collaborating to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Review and ensure that all documents received from customers and Underwriters meet the required standards and are filed correctly, maintaining a well-organized filing system.
  • Prepare pre-renewal packs for Underwriters and ensure timely distribution, facilitating smooth and efficient renewal processes.
  • Adhere to all applicable legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance in all aspects of the role.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customer service issues, addressing concerns and sharing relevant information with Underwriters.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the Underwriting Team.

Your profile

  • Previous experience in administration in a financial environment
  • Fluent in Dutch, English and at least one of the following languages: French, Italian, German, and Danish
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, MS Word, and ideally Powerpoint
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
  • Proactive and organized approach to work
  • Proficient in problem-solving and using initiative
