Business Development Officer

We are looking for a skilled BD Officer to join our client, a dynamic and innovative lawfirm. As a BD Officer, you will support the MBD team and lawyers with drafting pitch decks, coordinating different projects, conducting market research, and promoting expertise within the organization.
The perfect candidat should have a degree in Marketing, Economy, Business Management, Law or related field, excellent knowledge of Dutch, French and English, and experience with InterAction/CRM system. He / she also should have the eye of detail, a hands-on and pro-active attitude.

  • Supporting the MBD team and lawyers from all PGs with the drafting of pitch decks (standard proposals and tenders) and presentation documents. You help coordinate different PG’s, track results and obtain client feedback;
  • Working with the MBD team on the maintenance and organisation of the knowledge databases centralising the firm’s credentials, clients’ references;
  • Participating in the legal directories research process for rankings and awards by following up on deadlines, drafting submissions and updating the rankings and awards track records for your PGs;
  • Proactively using the CRM platform to increase and manage BD interactions with prospects and clients;
  • Sharing and promoting the different PG’s expertise internally to encourage and support cross-selling opportunities;
  • Supporting the Senior Business Developers in conducting market research into clients, prospects, industry sectors, competitors and sector trends to improve the completion of pitches, legal directories submissions, awards, client/target reports, the organisation of clients/target meetings.

Your profile

  • You have a degree in Marketing, Economy, Business Management, Law or other related field;
  • You have an excellent knowledge of Dutch, French and English;
  • You have experience with InterAction/CRM system is an asset.
  • Proactive and hands-on attitude;
  • You are willing to go the extra mile to ensure requests are met within the set deadlines;
  • You have an eye for detail and can easily switch between different projects to bring them all to a successful end.
