Operations Administrator

Our client, active in the recycling sector, is growing and the workload is also increasing for the Operations Recycling team. For the daily support to 3 experts, they are looking for an administrative jack-of-all-trades, who likes to work on a project basis, see work and likes numbers but also variety in operational tasks.

You will be part of a team with three experts: the Senior Recycling Coordinator & Team Supervisor, the Reuse & Recycling coordinator and finally, the Project Manager Recycling.
Together they are responsible for processing, hazardous waste, reporting, sampling and reuse. That doesn't tell you much now, but we are happy to explain.
The offices are located in Evere, close to public transport.


  • Communication to processors on transport management and pre-invoicing
  • Hazardous waste administration and preparing audits around depollution
  • Daily follow-up of certain customers regarding hazardous waste, sampling and recycling
  • Follow-up of charters and administrative support
  • Collecting data from various stakeholders
  • Support preparation of annual report, audits, controls, data collection, etc.
  • In short, each of the 3 people in the team will use you to bring more of their expertise to the DaytoDay. No building the future without you.

Your profile

  • You have a good written and spoken knowledge of both Dutch and French
  • You like to work autonomously and project-based
  • You like variation and can deal with the flexible mindset of colleagues
  • You are dynamic and you see and hear where you can make a difference
  • You like working with figures and data
  • You have an excellent knowledge of Excel
