Client Manager Public Sector

As a Public Sector Portfolio Manager with our client, a dynamic international broker located in the Brussels area, you will have the opportunity to develop your customer portfolio in the public sector.

You will represent our company in a professional manner and build a relationship of trust with customers and insurers. You will also be responsible for preparing specific offers, adapting your sales approach in line with developments in the sector, and managing customer files.

To succeed in this role, you must have relevant experience in insurance and brokerage, be fluent in French and have a good command of Dutch.

As a Public Sector Portfolio Manager, your responsibilities will include :
  • Developing your customer portfolio by prospecting and preparing attractive offers.
  • Preparing specific offers for public sector target groups, working closely with internal teams.
  • Constantly monitor developments in the sector to adapt your sales approach.
  • Act as a consultant, providing audit reports and sound advice on public procurement.
  • Act as a broker by managing customer files, mainly those of public entities. This includes negotiation with insurers and regular communication with customers, in compliance with public procurement legislation.
  • Work closely with consultants to meet customer expectations and implement customized solutions.

Your profile

  • You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent acquired through experience.
  • Relevant experience with a broker and/or insurance company is essential.
  • You are fluent in French and have a good command of Dutch.
  • As a team player, you have an open attitude and are eager to learn. You don't hesitate to share your knowledge and experience.
  • Your listening, negotiating and presentation skills are excellent, making it easy for you to gain the trust of your contacts.
  • You are capable of managing several projects simultaneously.
  • Flexible and stress-resistant, you know how to cope with pressure situations.
