As a file clerk, you will be responsible for:
  • Working with the Underwriting Department and Customer Service Department to facilitate end-to-end processing of new business, renewals and changes;
  • Liaising with clients to gather information needed to prepare quotes for new business or renewals, and updating pricing as needed;
  • Prepare reference documentation;
  • Preparing proposals and quotes after instructions are received from the Underwriting Department;
  • Inputting information/documents for transaction files;
  • Ensure quality and timeliness of issuing new policies;
  • Support the preparation of policies and amendments to policies for issuance by the Customer Service Department;
  • Support the Underwriting Department in collecting and processing documentation required for reinsurance contracts;
  • Liaise with brokers/clients to obtain information required for drafting policy amendments;
  • Working with the Collection Department;
  • In cooperation with the Collection Department, deal with financial matters and provide support in the collection of unpaid premiums.

Your profile

  • You have earned a bachelor's degree, preferably in insurance, economics, finance or another relevant field, and have an interest in working in the insurance industry;
  • Experience in the insurance sector is a great asset (and will be appreciated);
  • You have excellent written and oral skills in Italian and Dutch. A good knowledge of English is a plus;
  • You are able to prioritize and manage your time well to organize your daily work;
  • You are customer-oriented to anticipate customers' needs and act proactively;
  • You are solution-oriented to respond to challenges or problems;
  • You are attention to detail to ensure optimal follow-up for the departments you support;
  • You have very good administrative and communication skills.
