Transaction Monitoring Officer
The Transaction Monitoring Officer is responsible for monitoring and analyzing financial transactions within an organization, usually in the financial sector, to detect and prevent fraudulent activity, compliance violations and money laundering. The TMO plays an essential role in preserving the company's integrity and reputation by ensuring that all transactions comply with current regulations.
Description
- You monitor financial transactions in real time, including deposits, withdrawals and transfers, looking for irregularities and suspicious behavior;
- You thoroughly examine transactions reported as suspicious or non-compliant, using advanced analysis tools and techniques to assess the level of risk;
- You manage all transaction-related data securely and confidentially, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and data protection policies.
Your profile
- You have previous experience in KYC or AML;
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree and a keen interest in finance and banking (products);
- You have a good knowledge of MS Office;
- You are familiar with various IT tools;
- You have good written and oral communication skills in Dutch, French and English;
- You are able to work independently;
- You are stress-resistant and flexible;
- You are a problem-solver;
- You are precise, accurate and quality-conscious.
