The preferred candidate should possess a solid foundation in general accounting, encompassing tasks such as preparing financial statements, managing accounts receivables and payables, overseeing cash management, and handling VAT return preparations.
Description
- Oversee company-wide accounting, from A to Z, including monthly reporting and annual financial statements;
- Manage accounts receivables and payables, handling invoicing, payments, and reconciliations;
- Maintain control of the company's cash flow;
- Prepare VAT returns and manage intracommunity & Intrastat reporting;
- Supervise and mentor accounting team members;
- Actively engage in continuous improvement projects and provide support to the Financial Controller as needed.
Your profile
- Accounting degree and at least 5 years of General Accounting experience;
- Profound knowledge of accounting and tax standards, with a strong attention to detail;
- Recognized for discretion, integrity, and adaptability in a multicultural team;
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., BOB 50), proficient in IT tools (especially Excel), and fluency in French, English, and German; Luxembourgish is a plus.
