We are currently looking for a competent Motor Claims Manager to join our client, an insurance company specializing in legal protection.

As an Automobile Claims Manager, your main responsibilities will be to establish and maintain close communication with our French-speaking brokers, analyze claims files and take the necessary steps to resolve problems, as well as coordinating communication with all parties involved.

The ideal profile for this position includes a bachelor's degree in business management with a specialization in finance/insurance, or 3-5 years' experience in a similar role. Excellent command of the French language is essential, as are good oral and written communication skills. Strong commercial and sales skills are also essential for success in this position.

Description

As an Auto Claims Manager, your main responsibilities will be as follows:
  • Establish and maintain close communication with our French-speaking brokers.
  • Analyze claims files in various fields and take the necessary steps to resolve problems effectively.
  • Give priority to defending the interests of our policyholders when handling claims.
  • Work closely with brokers, customers, adjusters and lawyers to gather all relevant information.
  • Coordinate and ensure clear and rapid communication with all parties involved, including other insurance companies, adjusters and third-party lawyers.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure integrated and efficient case management.
  • Ensure rigorous follow-up of files in accordance with established procedures and deadlines.
  • Provide technical support and professional advice to brokers and customers.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and practices by sharing your observations and suggestions.

Your profile

  • You must hold a bachelor's degree in business management, with a specialization in finance/insurance, and/or have 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role. Your training and experience attest to your in-depth knowledge in this field.
  • Excellent command of the French language is essential for this position. You must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • As a convincing communicator, you must be at ease on the telephone and have good writing skills. You will be required to communicate frequently by telephone and in writing with our customers, including policyholders and brokers.
  • Commercial acumen is an important asset for success in this position. You will be in regular contact with our customers, so you will need to demonstrate sales skills and be able to understand their needs and propose appropriate solutions.
  • We're also looking for someone who is proactive, has a sense of initiative and is ready to take on new challenges. You'll need to be able to make decisions and take action independently, while respecting the company's objectives and policies.
  • Mastery of MS Office tools such as Excel, Word and Outlook is essential. You will need these tools to carry out a variety of day-to-day tasks, such as data management and e-mail communication.
