As a Lead Property Broker, your role will involve:
  • Providing broking and processing support to the local sales team to achieve targets and develop the business, while adhering to Company and/or Group policies.
  • Assisting in the sales and tender management approach to ensure efficient and effective service to clients.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with immediate team members to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Handling incoming inquiries from clients, insurers, and third parties in a professional and timely manner.
  • Managing client renewals and mid-term adjustments to ensure continuous coverage and client satisfaction.
  • Conducting business ethically and treating all clients, both internal and external, fairly.
  • Developing and maintaining a network of preferred insurance markets in each area of activity.
  • Building strong relationships with insurance markets and negotiating the best balance of quality, service, and price.
  • Negotiating policy wordings with insurers to ensure the best possible coverage for clients.
  • Establishing and maintaining an excellent relationship with London Markets through effective collaboration with London teams.
  • Assisting in the creation of comprehensive client broking documents and other necessary documents.
  • Handling the processing of policies, quotes, indications, and endorsements accurately and efficiently.

Your profile

  • You are fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
  • You hold a Bachelor degree or University degree (or equivalent by proven experience).
  • You preferably have more than 10 years' experience in a similar role.
  • You are detail-oriented with the ability to produce accurate documentation.
  • You have the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • You have strong prioritization and organizational skills.
  • You possess competent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • You are able to establish strong client-focused relationships and provide a high standard of service.
  • You have effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • You have experience dealing with new developments in the insurance field, such as Non-Damage Business Interruption and Cyber Insurances.
