Our client is a Belgian-based financial services company that specializes in the settlement and delivery of financial securities (such as stocks, bonds, and investment funds), as well as the custody and management of these securities. For this job, you are part of the the Income Payment & Reconciliation Team. As you will be dealing with Italian financial institutions, you need to be fluent in Italian and interest in the Financial sector.
Description
- Reconcile cash coming from providers versus cash transferred to the noteholders
- Book reconciled Income payments (intraday batches + overnight batch)
- Investigate anomalies and discrepancies
- Apply incoming cash credit confirmations to relevant Income payments
- Proactively research and collect information for income, redemption and dividend events
- Timely analyze and cleanse the notifications/pre-advices received from depositaries and other info sources with the information held in the DACE and Securities database
- Challenge information providers in case of discrepancy with securities' documentation
- Build and maintain good relationship with our depositaries/agents, other Income Teams (Pre-payment and Investigation) and other internal stakeholders (Cash Processing, Banking, Corporate Actions, CORE Reconciliation, New Issues, Tax Ops, Client Service, Commercial…).

- You are accurate, detail-oriented and able to notice patterns and dependencies to work with numbers and many variable factors
- You have a Master degree
- You are fluent in Italian and English
- You are accountable for your actions and decisions
- You are self-organized to assure your tasks are properly done in respective time, meeting intraday deadlines
- You are motivated, eager to learn and taking care of your self-development
- You have good teamwork skills
- You are punctual and flexible in terms of working hours (special working schedules between 8.00 AM and 9.00 PM)
