As Teamleader Accounts within the Payments & Investments department, you will supervise a team managing retail and business customer accounts, ensuring complex operations and compliance with SLAs. Your role involves coordination, coaching, target setting, committee participation and external representation. You will have a Master's degree and 2 years' banking experience, with coaching and communication skills. Description

  • As Accounts teamleader, you will join the Payments & Investments department, where you will supervise and coordinate a team of 10 to 15 employees;
  • The team's task is to manage the accounts of our retail and business customers;
  • This includes current accounts, savings accounts, term accounts and securities accounts;
  • More specifically, the team handles operations that the customer or the branch cannot perform;
  • This ranges from monitoring the correct opening of the account to closing it, including a number of life-cycle interventions (e.g. freezing, interest payments or changing bank);
  • As a manager, you coach your team and remain available;
  • You formulate objectives for each member of staff and SLAs (service level agreements) for the team. You ensure systematic follow-up;
  • You seek efficiency in processes and procedures, while keeping an eye on risks and budgets;
  • You make decisions while respecting competencies;
  • Finally, you participate in internal steering committees and represent our customer in Febelfin working groups.

Your profile

  • You have a Master's degree and at least two years' relevant banking experience;
  • You have already worked with account management processes or have the ability and experience to quickly acquire in-depth knowledge of the terms and conditions of all types of accounts and the stakeholders involved;
  • Thanks to your coaching skills, you know how to motivate a team and remain available;
  • You have communication skills that enable you to report in clear language within and outside your team. You communicate internally in Dutch and French, and externally in English.
