Description
- Analysing new and outstanding liability claims
- Ensuring the timely resolution of claims in coordination with internal and external parties
- Verifying and analysing expert and legal reports
- Maintaining, updating and following-up on claims files
- Pro-actively communicating developments and outcomes to all key internal and external stakeholders
- Initiating claims payment
- Ensuring overall satisfaction of the broker and client and a fair claim settlement
Your profile
- A minimum requirement for this role is a degree in insurance or a relevant job-related field.
- Prior experience working in a claims department, specifically in the non-life insurance sector, is highly preferred.
- Fluency in Dutch, French, and English is essential for effective communication with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical abilities to assess the validity of claims, review policy information, and accurately determine coverage.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Ability to provide empathetic and efficient customer service is essential.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and efficiently handle workload.
