  • Analysing new and outstanding liability claims
  • Ensuring the timely resolution of claims in coordination with internal and external parties
  • Verifying and analysing expert and legal reports
  • Maintaining, updating and following-up on claims files
  • Pro-actively communicating developments and outcomes to all key internal and external stakeholders
  • Initiating claims payment
  • Ensuring overall satisfaction of the broker and client and a fair claim settlement

Your profile

  • A minimum requirement for this role is a degree in insurance or a relevant job-related field.
  • Prior experience working in a claims department, specifically in the non-life insurance sector, is highly preferred.
  • Fluency in Dutch, French, and English is essential for effective communication with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical abilities to assess the validity of claims, review policy information, and accurately determine coverage.
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to provide empathetic and efficient customer service is essential.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and efficiently handle workload.
