We are currently looking for a Fire Insurance Claims Manager for our client, an insurance broker specializing in the "non profit" sector.
As a claims handler, you will be responsible for the prompt, efficient and accurate handling of fire claims files. You will need to interpret claims correctly, communicate professionally with customers, insurers and adjusters, defend customers' interests and show initiative as a born negotiator.
You must have a very good knowledge of Dutch, a bachelor's degree in insurance/legal studies, at least 2 years' experience as a claims handler and ideally experience in civil liability.

Description

- Interpret claims correctly.
- Communicate professionally and thoroughly with customers, insurers and adjusters.
- Defend customers' interests in dealings with insurers.
- Show initiative and be a natural negotiator.
Your profile
- You have a very good knowledge of Dutch. Knowledge of French is a plus.
- You have a bachelor's degree in insurance/legal studies.
- You have at least 2 years' experience as a claims handler in the insurance sector.
- Experience as a liability claims handler is an asset.
- You are assertive and have a customer-oriented attitude.
- You think proactively and take initiative.
- You are the point of contact for all parties involved in your claims file, and are able to negotiate independently.
- You are flexible, solution-oriented and practical.
- You work with precision, are able to manage stress and have good written and oral communication skills.
