Accounting & Control Support

Our client, a large Belgian generalist bank, is looking for an accounting support position for a replacement contract. The mission is to ensure the financial follow-up of the Marketing, the coordination of the maintenance of the risks under control as well as the coordination of the services shared by the various managers within the group. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar position.


  • Actively participate in the organization and execution of financial planning processes. You are responsible for the quality of the consolidated information, analyze and challenge the results. You are a privileged interlocutor of the key internal actors of the budget and reporting process.
  • Steering & Coordination with the different marketing managers of the budget of the expense lines for the department
  • Supervision of achievements by analytical axis and monthly update of relevant reports for the monitoring of the activity
  • Extra-accounting follow-up for correspondence with the balance sheet: monthly justification of accounts
  • Analysis of the income statement lines monitored, detection and coordination with the various marketing managers of opportunities and risks
  • Determining and transmitting to the accounting department the elements to be provisioned at the end of the year
  • Participate in meetings of the departments in charge and report information to the financial department. Organize regular reviews, projections according to needs, and alert if budgetary deviations occur.
  • Setting up relevant financial reports to ensure optimal cost monitoring
  • Follow-up and update of dashboards related to risk control testing
  • Coordination with the Marketing teams for the realization of the testing steps
  • Conducting tests on certain shared devices
  • Assume various responsibilities for end of quarter risk reporting
  • Maintain and update the risk matrix for Marketing

Your profile

  • Level of education required: 4/5 years of higher education in Management - Economics or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Management Controller position within a large group or a SME.
  • Good knowledge of accounting and financial management
  • Mastery of computer tools, in particular advanced mastery of Excel & Pivot Tables
  • Knowledge of Access
  • Language skills: French - Dutch - English
  • Experience in the banking sector or experience in an audit firm are a plus
