Management Assistant

Our client is an independent law firm specializing in taxation.
For the further growth of their Brussels office, they are looking for a Management Assistant. He/she will be responsible for agenda management, organizing meetings and travel, managing the office's telephone and electronic communications, improving and layout of documents and presentations, and managing files (opening, updating and closing). The ideal candidate is organized and detail-oriented. He/she knows how to set priorities and meet deadlines. This is a very family owned company that places great trust in its employees. You are ultimately responsible for the administrative and organizational support of your assigned attorneys. Your responsibilities include:
  • careful agenda management
  • drafting documents, revising and translating texts, creating document bundles
  • organizing business trips, co-organizing events
  • follow-up and handling of correspondence
  • keeping the archive and the electronic filing system up to date
  • general administrative tasks

Your profile

  • You have a bachelor degree or equivalent level through experience (preferably in a law firm)
  • You are well bilingual Dutch-French and have an excellent knowledge of English
  • You have a very good knowledge of MS Office
  • You have good organizational and planning skills, have an eye for detail and are precise
  • You have the necessary maturity to carry final responsibility
  • You like working in a team, but at the same time you are very independent
  • You are proactive, dynamic and know how to roll up your sleeves
  • You are fluent and communicative, but also very discreet and reliable
  • You are stress resistant and can be flexible
